In Ancient Rome, the politicians used to win votes and distract the voters with games, games at the coliseum, this is almost the same tactic, where entertainment is the value, the loudest is the king. I pity the nation and I pity us all infected with this syndrome. People all over have lost faith in the established political order which has resulted in the scramble for new names, new visions for old systems. This loss of faith may have made us unwise in our leadership choices, though the blame can also be put upon the lack of leadership choice available. Which leads me to ask and to worry about, can our present society, based on how you look and how loud you are, produce the leaders we need to lead us out of this mess?
